Learn How Global Enterprises Can Address Vulnerabilities by Improving Visibility

Frost & Sullivan report reveals infosec professionals’ concerns about blind spots and highlights the ForeScout technologies that can remove them.

Even with multiple enterprise-wide cybersecurity solutions in place, organizations everywhere are defenseless against attacks they can’t see. In fact, in a recent survey of senior-level IT and security administrators representing Global 2000 companies in the U.S. and Europe, 72 percent stated that their organizations experienced five or more security incidents in the last 12 months.

When asked where there are significant blind spots in their networks:

  • 44% said Firewalls
  • 40% cited Vulnerability Assessment
  • 40% claimed Advanced Threat Detection

Network Intrusion Prevention, SIEM, Enterprise Mobility Management, Antivirus, Patch and Configuration Management were mentioned as well. When you consider that most network security technologies work in silos, sharing little or no communication, it’s no wonder visibility is a serious concern. However, it needn’t be.

This Frost & Sullivan report covers results from the research group’s survey. In addition, it highlights how the ForeScout CounterACT™ platform stands apart from Network Access Control products due to its unique ability to enhance visibility.
